Some years ago now a national treasure disappeared from the English Scene. In a corner of the then refurbished Covent Garden there was a small haven of English idiosyncrasy that has since not found a permanent home except on the web and in various short term venues all over the world.

Personally, I think it should have a home base and if I won the lottery......

An automata, mechanical sculpture, robots, animatronics, toys, art and fun museum as it is described at the bottom of their website.

I was lucky enough to push my way through the turnstile once or twice to spend a happy hour or two trying to work out how they did it.
Give up and just gaze in awe and enchantment.


A few years later this little chap arrived.
